My quail are sleeping right now and one of them jumped from my Hand and landed roughly I know it didn’t take much impact but am still scared for hyphen they are just chicks!

She is doing better she is just sleeping with Basil right now Basil and Pepper have been waking up every once in a while so I think Pepper should be good now

how high was your hand from the ground and what kind of ground did she land on? I had a chikc fall from bathroom counter hihgt and she landed on the floor (no carpet) Floof's perfectly fine.

She feel from like a few inches from the ground about 1-3 inches off it and she landed on carpet and is now doing fine she is just sleepy and am making sure Her and Basil are breathing, but her heart rate is kind of high like a bit faster then Basil But am sure she is just a bit nervous I would be too

When one of my king quail chicks (my avatar) was two days old, she jumped out of my hand (about a metre above the ground) and landed on the hard floor. I freaked out because she was twisting around strangely and I thought she wouldn't make it. I put her back in the brooder, and she was fine. She's a healthy adult and is turning 1 soon

Is the temperature pretty consistent day and night? Depending on how old your chicks are, hot days may not be enough for them if they aren't warm during the night.

Pretty consistent but if anything it gets hotter in the afternoon and the chicks are about a week old
