3 of mine are exactly that age! Oh geez!
I don't notice any change really though, maybe I'm just lucky.
Ha, only time will tell! Wobbles was a lil' cutie patootie, always snuggling up with me and scrambling up on my chest to take naps, and then just this month he began getting nippy and standoffish. It's totally normal for drakes at this age. If he were part of a flock rather than a house duck he'd be vying with the other males for dominance. The hormonal thing is only temporary, in a few months he'll be past his little rebellious phase...fingers crossed.
You know, pecking order has been a big thing lately. They were always equal, but Chuck and Tuck have constantly been exchanging the top spot in the past few weeks. They've been bullying the little black duck (he's such a sweetheart, it makes me sad when they chase him away), and the gray has constantly held in the middle.
