My call ducks are housed with my muscovy with no issues what-so-ever. I guess you have muscovy drakes, and that could cause issues.
I'd say keep a trio. It's always better for the girl to have the attention shared, right?

Hard to say, they just seem up here to travel in pairs lol Even at my fair there were 4/5? cages that were all divided down by pairs.

You can always get the breeder's name and contact information and try to make arrangements for them to bring a trio along to another show so you can pick them up.

This was at our local fair only held once a year. I know where I can get some more.. coming up in September but i was surprised how around here most sell by the pair.

Selling them by the pair is a good way to get rid of extra drakes I guess.

Updated pictures of my little flock of mixed colour calls. They were 6 weeks old last Wednesday.

I notice a couple have a distinct quack, and some are raspy, would it be too early to sex them based on voices?

Just beautiful!! I have 4 Calls and they are the sweetest little things! Love those pastel greys w/brown.

... and wanted to post an updated picture of him now that he's almost all grown up!

He's so pretty! I still remember when you posted that first photo of him and I thought he was just about the cutest little duckling ever! Love the markings.

I'll video them doing it when I get home from work and upload it to Youtube and link it back here You'll love it lol If they are running and I spray them, they turn and run sideways so they can get the water. It's hilarious!
