Da' Cute and Cuddly Call Duck thread!

The only sign I ever got in the beginning was an egg. I think the ducks were more surprised than I. Now that they are seasoned, they make nests, make nests and make nests. Sometimes get broody and pull feathers out and make nests. Sit in nests and make nests. But that varies by duck. Here is an old video of Snow dropping an egg - the only sign she shows is slowing down a bit. My Rouens started laying at 7 mo. I would think call ducks would mature at about the same rate. They are the same species, just bred for small size and loud mouths :D
Awesome video with Pat Benatar and the ducks moving in slow motion. Too cool.

Weeeeebeeeep. U got it gentila. You know me too well. For me it's love at first glance with that fuzzy handful of webbed warmlet.
Smaller than your pretty zebra finches... And sooooooo cute I thought of you right away

But all of us are to some degree in the same boat you are in. I have a dozen ducks, but no call ducks. And even people with call ducks might not have call ducklings. We all love pictures of each other's babies.

You are so right about that gentila, it is something within us that just spirals into infinity. We go from one to the next. I also agree with you about people's pictures of their baby webbers. Just cannot get enough.

Thank you! I'm in love :love
How does @Julie Bird say it... EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! kisses on her head and her cute little bill and the little fuzzes of hair on top!

I can't get enough of her! I could snuggle her for the rest of my life.

And we have fluffy butts, as yet unnamed. Three hatched last night. We are expecting a few more to hatch but expect they are delayed.because it's winter here and that kind of thing happens. The silkie took the babies out so we've got Australorp mum sitting tight on the remaining eggs when the rest of the silkie timeline ones hatch we'll pull the fluffy butts and give them to the silkie she' adopts any baby any time she can get her wings on one.

I'm guessing silver or snowy

Grey

I'm thinking Blue Fawn
