Little photo shoot today with a couple of ducklings. These were both born this weekend.

I think this young lady will be peach, her color extends all the way to her neck which I don't think I've had before. Her eye stripe is super well defined.


This is the little wet one from the other day. Like I said I think she's going to be a magpie.
This is where I keep the babies and mums. Its fully mobile so they get fresh ground every couple of days. The paint trays have a deep end and a natural slope so ducklings can easily get out on their own, The bricks absorb warmth and help the fluff butts warm up after a swim. Tractor can be nailed down using tent pegs at night or when there is inclement weather headed out way.

Then the two fuzzlets above and it is amazing the way the little wetlet from a few days ago fluffed out. Your ducks are 57,000 times of cute squared.

Sorry!! But HOW do you stop taking pictures of call ducklings haha! Let's hear it for my beloved bantam frizzle Esmeralda who fended off call ducks, peacocks and hens today on bubs' first day out. It's a bugger to catch 6 of these tiny delights to put to bed.

I love my calls I have my pastels my Snowys, whites and white bibbed black . They are sweet and funny . I remember one day my hubby was complaining about the mess they make on the side walk . As he was walking away he tripped the next thing you know we heard Ha Ha Ha! Even my grouchy hubby had to laugh it was the joke of the day .
