That would be nine kinds of amazing if you could! And yes, it is impossible to resist their round birb bods, they are so terribly squarshable, hehe!
I'll start checking around to see if it'd be an option...

That is it. It isn't fair. Round plump soft warm cute teeny webbed feets. Cheeks bill head rump. STOP IT.
I know it. I still check CL regularly. I'd go for Calls since they are so itsy cute and for me more conducive to being an indoor webby. We so need to find you a new place so you can have some...![]()

My baby![]()
I would love love that, RavynFallen. Thank you. I could kiss and cuddle Lady Grey and watch her fly. Put Snowy on her scale and you'd have to remind me to come up for air.Someday you'll get some... one way or another...
Or you'll just have to take your vacations to come visit ours...![]()
You are awesome. I have to thank you for doing this. I hope she makes it too.I got a call today from one of the local non avian vets (the ones that care for my dog and cat) now I'm caring for a duck the vet said is suffering botulism. When I picked her up she was all limp and I really couldn't see her recovering. The vet gave her a 50/50 chance at survival but as he's a small one vet clinic he didn't have the man power to duck sit. So I'm doing it. I've learnt all kinds of potentially useful things today like how to tube feed a duck ect and so far all is going well. She seems to be gaining back some control of her head although she still isn't drinking or eating without me tube feeding her yet and she doesn't seem to mind me handling her which I'm finding bizarre for a wild duck. I feel bad every time I accidentally dislodge a feather and I hope with the muscles relaxed it isn't hurting her.
Has anyone cared for a duck with botulism before? The vet was working on info he got from calling the avian vet and didn't have an answer for how long until I know if she's going to make it or not and by the time I got there to pick up the duck the avian vet was closed for the night. Vets best guess was if she is still alive in two days she'll probably make it. I'm feeling hopeful now that her head is up but wouldn't mind the two cents worth from someone who has actually dealt with this before.
