Have you tried putting feeder fish in the water? The ducks have no choice but to dive to get those, and I've never seen a duck that didn't get excited about minnows swimming around beneath the surface. It's also really funny to watch the ducks try to get them since the fish are quick. Sometimes you can see a duck that's tried a few times and come up empty-billed just stay very still and watch them for a while, like they're planning the attack and trying to predict where the fish will be at the moment they go for them.

Yup! It's nine kinds of precious watching her chase them, but she still won't submerge. Instead she just sticks her head down and wiggles it around like a fire hose. XD

That seems really odd. How deep is the water? Maybe she thinks it's not deep enough to dive?
