I actually hated that hamster, she was constantly escaping into my dresser and she'd chew holes in my socks and undies! I do miss Petunia my skunk, though. You can't own 'em in WA unless you jump through, like, a gazillion legal hoops. But I'm happy with my duckies so I guess it doesn't matter <3 But as far as exotics though, I'm pretty tame...at the clinic I saw a house-goat, a bobcat, a piggy and - not joking - a kangaroo. Someone in my town owns a friggin' kangaroo as a house pet!!

Naughty hamster. Now, a house goat and house kangaroo, um, diapers, potty trained? Wow. Their prerogative, I reckon. You're on the mark having bitty and diapered duckies.

Oh, I didn't own La Quinta, I just took care of her. Twenty years and 50 pounds ago, I did vaulting! But I have owned cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, betta fish, hamsters, skunks, snakes, stingrays...

The eggs I got were from chocolate, and gray(malard-y looking) call ducks.

Yep! Alicia has been so gracious to accept the babies in. We do the dropoff/pickup on Sunday. I'm just happy that this worked out, 'cuz Pancake needs more babies to grow up with if he's gonna be a happy outdoor duckie and these ones are just a few days younger than he is. <3

He's doing great! We were worried at first since he was kinda derpy and we were concerned he may have had mental issues like what claimed poor Milkshake. But now he's a little terror, zooming around the brooder and being as cute as can be! I'll miss the little guy, for sure...I wish he was a girl. :/ But at least I know he's going to one heck of a great home!

Hehe, yeah...I mean, they grow like weeds just like any other duck, but they're so small to start with it's hard to notice, especially if you have other ducklings around for comparison! When you see a day-old duckling tower over your week-old call duck, it really drives the point home

Can you guys help me figure out the colors? Other than the lil' black bibbed (which is totally adorable) I can't figure out what they're supposed to be. But look at how adorable they all are!

I was on call all weekend, so I just got to this...

Have to admit, I really like the pied one - funny because before I had ducks, I wouldn't have liked the "splotchy" bill, now that is all more character. My wife thought the first one with the color and the fuzz looked like a pussy-willow

The lil' girl is settling into her new home! She was peeping up a storm (although she'd make happy chirps if she could see my face) but we got a mirror and she calmed down instantly. I think we're gonna be okay. <3
