Da' Cute and Cuddly Call Duck thread!

Well, he IS a dinosaur. :p
tee hee. That makes me laugh. He is. But he is a cute, tiny, stubby billed, web footed, silly and soft dinosaur. And speaking of dinosaurs, when my super tiny finch Little Bit has herself in a certain posture it freaks me out and I call her my "little dinosaur girlish.". Love evolution and science!!

2 help any body with hatching call ducks here is some tips. About, "for me" 8/10 of the baby call will be fertilized depending on how many drake you have. 2. If you have a broody hen I prefer a silkie, I would put 10 eggs under her, but if not put in incubator. the humidity at 60 and temperature at 99 to 102 degrees f. But on the 25 day of incubation take the turner out and raise humidity to 70, and I can not stress this enough, no madder what, do not open the incubator. Call ducks take 28 days to hatch. Again I prefer to hatch under a broody chicken hopefully a silkie.

on Saturday I will have 5 baby calls hatching. cant wait to see what kind. the 17th I'm getting trio of blue Swedish, trio of Rouen, trio of Cayuga, trio of Pekin and a trio of khaki Campbell's. on the 19th I'm hatching 3 calls and on the 11th I'm hatching 10 Muscovy's.
