Hey guys slight emergency but what could this be from



I saw it today when I noticed tickey acting kind of wierd so I took him in for a bath and found it.

Wheres the location? under the wing, Which let me add are GORGEOUS colors..

It's hard to tell but those black spots is that scabs?

Those black spots are the last 2 feathers left on the wound.

Also on his neck under the main feathers there is some loss of feathers

Could it be pebbles,the other male , doing this to him

Sounds like a possiblity, it's mating time and I have seen my boys, go after each other CONSTANTLY. grrr..

Sticky embroy is a night mare that comes true, it's a thick gooy substance that bascially confines them, stops them from grow and suffications them. Making the survival rate go down immensly. There's Four factors that causes it:

The most common is to high of humidity during day 1 up to three days before lockdown.
low Temp
Dirty bator
and final oxygen level.

It's very difficult to get a sticky baby to survive, it's NOT impossible but it does make it very challenging.. The substance if you were to touch it, and put two fingers together, they would stick together, NOT permenantly, NOT like super glue you would just be able to feel the stickiness.
This stickiness will cover there nostril, go into there lungs etc.
