Da' Cute and Cuddly Call Duck thread!

If He is running around active I bet he is fine. Maybe it was just some waste stuck to him that looked like yolk. If He is all fluffed up and energetic I'm sure it's safe to put in the brood r.
Don't worry if he don't eat *right* away. They can live off the absorbed yolk for quite a while without needing to eat.

He's slowly becoming a fluff ball,
he's hiding in the cup now where I had him sitting when he was struggling.
He is adorable, I can't wait to post photos.
He has distinct black spots on his beak, legs, and body.

Can't wait to see him! Hurry up baby.

I'm already in love,
he's so loud and proud and running all over the place.

He's drying out faster than I thought, maybe I'll be able to bring him into the brooder soon.

I keep calling him a he but his name is baby cause I was crying and calling out baby when I was trying to help him ;(.
I'm not built to handle the death of a duckling!

It stinks when they don't make it. I know. I had a bunch that died in the shell. Mine were under brood y though. Hard to know when to assist when you got a mad momma not wanting you to look.

I had 5 make it to lockdown, sadly I just candled those babies and they didn't make it.
One was so talkative and wobbly too, guess it just gave up.

But I'm happy and thankful for my 3, first ever hatch didn't go so horrible.

Hey guys,
baby's feet are a little weird,
like they can fan out, but they won't when he walks.
And he kinda has a hard time zooming around.
Would photos help?
