- the crazy thing is-4 of the babies are from the first batch I set, 1 hatched on day 28 as schedule, the next from the same eggs hatch yesterday-day 30, then 1 from batch 2 due tomorrow (so its early???) then I come home to find 2 from batch 1-which means day 31, oh never throw your eggs out til a week has gone by is all I can say. Hope I have some more babies come tomorrow, I am suppose to have call ducks and silkies on 4/21 hatching. Ok I will take and post pics in the morning when I can operate a camera again

I recently purchased 3 call ducks! I absolutely adore them! But have only had pekins in the past and am looking for any helpful information on raising them! When do they lay, what is best to provide for them to lay in? Feeds? Any hatching tips? Really any tips in general would be much appreciated! I just want them to be healthy and happy and would love to get some babies this year

Thanks!

You go to uploads and upload your pictures, then you copy and paste the url number thing in the boxes underneath. When you post they turn into pictures like this:

Tadaaaaaaaa!! Took me ages to work it out lol!!

Need help, i'm worried about my female call. In Feb. she had no problem laying eggs and i knew it was too early. They were here first eggs. She is a year old now. Her and her hubby are always close together.

I think she's a snowy and he's a grey, but iv'e now been told that they may not be. She is white with spots on her head and spots down her back, the dark part on her wings,(which is hard to see in the pic) is a bright dark blue.
My problem is that all day if they aren't in the pond mating then they are in the coop in a box chatering back and forth and not very happy. She seems very wide and her belly looks fater than usual. He will jump out of the box if any of the chickens come near the coop. They have never faught with the chickens before, i mean they have slept together from the begining. Yesterday the male beatup my polish hen and pulled out alot of her head feathers. They have been acting like this since around 10 am., it is now6:50 here. Is there anything i can do. Is she not able to lay this egg if thats what the problem is? Someone please help if you can. Thanks. Angie
