Dads old sayings

My dad has been in the hospital since Saturday, and I have been thinking alot about him and his crazy old sayings.

Like (holding up his fists) "this one is iron, this one is steel, if this one don't get, this one will".....or "I am not always right, but I am NEVER wrong!" He has tons of them!

I thought it might be fun to see the crazy old sayings that everyone else remembers! Or even new sayings that are funny. I need a good laugh so if you have one please post it!

I remember when I was quite young and I would ask my dad to help me with putting on shoes, gloves, etc, and I'd say "can u put these on for me," and he would often reply, "I don't think they would fit me". he had many corny jokes like that

LOL That is a good one!!! Thank you for sharing!!! My dad said that one too! When I would ask him to make me something like a glass of juice, he would point his finger at me and say"Bam, you are a glass of juice!" LOL

another one was when I would comment on how I was hungry and say something like "I feel like an apple" and he would reply "you don't look like an apple

He actually came home today, doing much better. He had a whole lot of gallstones in his pancreas, that caused pancreatitis. The pain was really bad, and he was having problems breathing, we had no clue what it was. Thank goodness it was not his heart! They got them all out, but says he needs the gallbladder out in the next few weeks. Thank you for asking.
