Dairy goats

I'm new to having dairy goats. I was just wondering what do y'all usually feed your dairy goats? Medicated or non medicated?
Regular goat feed. Then regular deworming depending on the needs of your herd. I use cow dewormer at twice the dose per pound recommended for cows, when using for goats. Be vigilant, i think more goats are killed by worms than any other cause. Check the gums and inside eyelids and compare to famacha chart. Also good quality hay is most important to your goat's diet.

What you feed your goats depends a lot on where you are. I fed mine alfalfa hay because I lived in an area where a lot of alfalfa was grown. For grain I just fed COB. COB is corn oats and barley. It is lower in protein than mixed feeds, but since the alfalfa is high in protein, it worked for me. In other parts of the country people feed grass hay. Since grass is lower in protein than alfalfa, the grain needs to be higher in protein than COB. Hay for goats should be of high quality. It should be leafy, fine stemmed, and free of dust and mold. Goats should be vaccinated with CD/T which is for entertoxemia and tetanus. Goats should have access to a loose mineral mix and a salt block.
