Daisy was attacked by a possum!

A possum somehow got into the coop and attacked Daisy. Camilla and Martha Stewart are ok, thank goodness. I used to work for an animal hospital so I had a roll of gauze, some vet wrap, and a bottle of wound and infection spray (some call it holy water). The wound is under her right wing and is about the size of my palm, but it looks chunky. There is some skin missing in some spots. I am very upset because I am broke, like no gas in my car broke, and I cannot go to vet or even the store to get saline. I am praying she will be ok. I am changing the wrapping everyday and hoping for the best.

Best of luck to you and Daisy! I am so glad you had the wound spray on hand! I hear you on being broke, so yay for being prepared. I'm sure you know this, but make sure flies can't get into the wound and lay eggs. Neither you nor Daisy need to fight w/ maggots.
