Dakota8472 and Flock

Silkies eh? One of mine at 4 weeks is the same size as the 4 week brahma I got... I was not expecting that lol. I heard from atleast one person hear some of the tractor supply silkies aren't bantams.
Some of the TSC 'silkies' aren't really silkies.

Got Morrigan on my left tricep... and I got a awen/sun /triple moon on my back. And the consort sun is on my right wrist keeping the triple goddes on the left company.

This is my Morrigan. I posted her photo earlier in the week.. She is 10 months old and has made her way to the TOP already. She has definitely lived up to her name so far..

Week4 is starting Wednesday for these little chirpers..... least i think its week 4.... i feel really behind on time... but They are quiet the handful now... U can see the size of some of the silkies now. the light brahma and the porcelains are the easiest to handle... but the light brahmas a hard one to take pics of. They all piled in their box while i cleaned the brooder.. put a stick in there and raised the food and water.. they are terrified about this stick being in their brooder. lol. Not good pics of the porcelain with the nicer tail so far. It wouldn't stick it up in pics. I got 5 silkies. only 2 of them seem to not care about being picked up. I try to hand feed at least once a day and i hold as many will walk up to be picked up as possible. Does anyone know the best way to hold the feisty ones so when they start flapping so they wont ever hurt them selves? I try to put my hand under their feet but that doesn't help with the 3 I'm talking about.

they have been getting out and standing on anything they can so i thought maybe a little climbing stick might be good for them. but i guess they think its an alien come to destroy their little world. I'm looking forward to them getting bigger, warmer weather and then getting them outside... coop project is about to begin. they throw shavings way out of their home... lol. and found Brahma momma chasing my dog around when i came home today lol. time to get them their own pad. even if i got to go outside early and late to get them up and tuck them in.
