Yes and one of the hens is still laying. It's frigid here (very windy and 20's) and dark by 4:45. They happily trot into the coop then, so they're not resisting the fact that the days are short.
As I mentioned, he seems happy to do so just once or twice a day, unless I'm missing other times.
Maybe it's what I feed them. They've got a super diet - I spoil them.
I tried the Veterycin once and she seemed to like it but then it was so close to her eye I wasn't sure if it got into her eye if that would be an issue. Does it have a numbing effect?
