I have a low-key, homemade styrofoam 'bator that I've used successfully in the past. I use the rubbery shelf lining material for the flooring.
The eggs are currently in lockdown (Day 19). I had a tough time getting the humidity up, and once I finally reached the target humidity, I noticed that the flooring is damp to the touch (water must of seeped through from the sponges). Being that the eggs are in lockdown, I don't want to replace the entire flooring since that would involve removing the eggs and everything I else I have in place.
So out of curiosity, can a damp floor at this point effect the hatch?
