I call this the happy feet dance. Does anyone else's duck do that? Does anyone know why they do that? Its too cute!

That video was so cute. It looks like she is tapping to the music. I don't think my ducks tap like that I sure wish they would. Thanks for sharing I loved watching it.

Lots of water birds do that, the slapping motion tricks worms into thinking it's raining and will come to the surface where they'll get gobbled up! But I've also seen them do it when they're feeling happy, or just to be cute.

Bwahaha! That video made me laugh! I had no idea birds do that to trick worms! Kinda funny because my ducks do it either in their swimming pool or in a mud puddle after the rain, not dry soil. They're just being cute and happy I guess.
