Ok....we bought five little bantams two weeks ago...when we were putting them in our quarantine coop....very far from our others!! One hen flew wayyyy on top of our roof. She stayed there for two days. I posted on here inside another thread about her and it was suggested I buy a chicken hook. My hubby can make anything, so he did just that. She hasn’t gotten close enough. She went into our one garage..but it holds 8 trucks and it was too tricky. She even flew into a headlight on a shelf and broke it...ugh! Anyways...she’s near our other chickens...but I can’t get close...she’s nuts! At this point I have no interest in keeping her and plan to give her to a friend that like bantams. Anyways...she doesn’t go in the coop. We have another open coop next to her original hens, with fresh feed and water...but, no luck....anyone have any ideas how to outsmart this chicken?

I would wait until it's dark and everyone has gone to roost for the night. Maybe it would be easier to grab a hold of her.
That's the thing about certain bantams, they can fly like birds I swear. Is she an OEG?

Have you tried shaking a bag of mealy worms?
OEGs and Dutch Bantams are clever little biddies, plus they can fly exceptionally well, just give her time to get used to you guys.

OEG? Not sure what that means yet,,but she is a flyer! She is mostly black with at tuft it black feathers sprouting out thr top of her head,,, it’s cute...do they all have that?

What does OEG mean? I don’t see her at night..we think she goes into our wood pile
