The first broody is a buff orphintion she keeps switching nests. She has already lost 1 set of eggs because of this. I tried to move her out of the main coop to a smaller coop to help control her sitting situation but she freaked ot al night long and ran straight back to the main coop to sit again. I had a second hen go broody in one of the small coops and she is doing well and a seebright go broody in te main coop. So now the seebright and the buff don't know who's dang eggs are who's and I never know which box they are going to be in, except that at least both are staying on each one 1 of the 2 nests. But their eggs are about 10 days apart and the buff only has 2 left. Im getting worried I won't get then switched back in time for the buff to hatch get own eggs and finally get off the nest. Now there is a forth broody, a white leg horn making 3 in the main coop. Except the leghorn is taking the seebright nest (or which ever nest the buff isn't on that day) and the seebright is sitting on the roost all day (and night) screaming about not being able to get to her own nest). I haven't set eggs for the leghorn nectar she only just started 2 days ago but I can't convince any of the 3 to go in another box. Im not sure what to do anymore. I can take eggs from the second hen (the one in te small coop) to give thi te leghorn, she has 7 right now so I'm not worried about that. But I need the 3 to figure ot who is sitting where so I can get their eggs sorted. Honestly the seebright and leghorn won't even matter before the seebright eggs where set the same day as the second hen doo if I pull a few from her for the leghorn those 3 would have the same hatch date. But the buff is already past 21 days and I don't want her sitting longer her current eggs are due in a few more days make a week at the most I believe (sorry I need to double check the dates).
