*sobs* well I took out 4 of my dozen snowy call eggs to do the crack and see test...and all were infertile. They were laid right around the 1st of July...and I thought that by storing them for 3 weeks I had ruined them, but all 4 of these were infertile...I am scared to open the others but I know I should... *sobs again* I waited all summer for my incubator and then I get infertile eggs...thats the worst bday gift ever...

Where did you get the eggs, are they from your flock? How old is the male? Sorry for the bummer BDAY. Tou can always try again.

Why do you say they were infertile? Because they didn't develop? Storing them for 3 weeks would have greatly hurt their chances of developing.

No, I opened them up and none of them had a bullseye, they looked like eggs from the store...not a speck of development (obviously there wouldnt be if there wasnt a bullseye)

You know, I've been hatching eggs for a long time, and I'm still not sure I can tell a fertile from an infertile egg by looking at it. Eggs change over time and I'm not sure anything would be visible after sitting for 3 weeks. Call duck eggs are pretty fragile as it is so they don't need 3 weeks storage time against them if you want them to have the best chance of hatching.
