We have a male D'anver that we suspect has Marek's. We will be getting some Hypericum tonight to see if it helps. But the odd part is that he has stopped drinking water.
He has a healthy appetite for everything else. He is eating the layer mash we feed to them, along with some cracked corn ( seems to be his favorite ). And he will eat watermelon. We are grateful he will eat the watermelon to avoid dehydration, but find it confusing he won't drink the water. We do have well water and there are no odd smell or tastes to it. The female D'anver drinks the water no problem. She is not showing any symptoms.
Does anyone have any thoughts about the strange behavior of drinking?
