Daphne bathes + 8 month old Goons

We are having a February heat wave. Temps are at almost 40 degrees Fahrenheit! I got home from work in time to let the ducks out to enjoy the weather. Starting with Daphne - she made it to the “pool” first!

Then, the Goons decided to swim. Goon 2 got cranky, then it spread. I ended up having to dump the pool when a hen fight erupted.

35 weeks old and no eggs yet. I wonder who will lay first!

Thank you! A couple of the cold snaps had me scared as the temps got down to -18 degrees Fahrenheit not counting the wind chill. There were a few mornings that I was sure that the ducks would be frozen, but everyone’s come through ok so far! How’s winter going for you?
