Dare I even hope :(?

I have a 6 wk old buff Orpington I hatched... Was desperately hoping for a hen . What do you think ??

6 weeks is a little early. I think it looks male but my chance of being correct is right around 50%

I am afraid that he is a cockerel. His crest is a rather intense pink that is becoming red.

It's early . But my other rosters are obvious . This one's is meeting me guessing!

Cockerel, although it is early. Comb and wattles that red at 6 weeks points toward male.
