Has anyone had issues with chickens they've gotten from Dare2Dream Farms? We have other chickens we've gotten from elsewhere and haven't had any issues but 4 out of 5 we got from there have passed. Two had developmental issues, one had some unexplainable malady and died in a week (vet said it may have been something viral), another had a yolk embolism and we had to put her down and we just lost our Becky last night. She was fine that day and then we found her dead in the coop that night when we went to lock up. All my other girls are fine and this isn't Marek's - the vet agrees. I just can't explain it and I'm brokenhearted and exasperated. 4 girls. All gone. My little babies.
The only thing I can suspect is bad breeding practices? I don't want to give them a bad name, this is all speculation, but I'm curious if anyone else has had issues.
