First Wounds. Are these serious?

This morning, I moved her inside the kennel in the run with the others. I had errands to run till around early afternoon then I let her out and stayed there. The others are still pecking on her. And whoever was doing it I put them in the kennel as time out. Not sure if that helps but I know they don’t like being in there. I’m going to keep her separated overnight so her wounds keep healing. Then I’ll do it all overalls again tomorrow and put some painless peppers on the bully one. Hope it helps. Any other tips or suggestions are welcomed.
If you know who the bully is and if it is just one, you could separate her for a several days and see if that reset things. The bully will have to find her place again and it would give this girl an opportunity to regain some lost confidence. If it is more that one bully, that is a different issue.

I, personally, think pinless peepers are cruel. But I am WAAAAY to big of a softie.

I'd go with the Pinless Peepers to see if that helps.

Ime, separating out or moving a bullyish/higher ranking hen doesn't work very well. Once put back, they just go back to what they were doing and may even escalate the situation. If they are higher up, they generally stay higher up when coming back in, either by fighting for it or whatever.

Is there anything sharp inside the run/coop that could have sliced into her? The wounds look like cuts. The others could have seen the blood and started to pick on her after the damage was done. Just another thing to look for.
I checked everywhere and there is nothing she could’ve cut herself with. So I guess it was the excessive pecking that made such nasty wound.

Thank you everyone. Her wound are heeling well and fast. I’m going to use the peepers and see how it goes.
