Dark Brahma / Orpington cross

I hatched an egg from my Dark Brahma. One of my Orpington Roos is the father IC or CC

Since both are diluted black will the chick end up black?

It’s currently black with some yellow patches.
Beak and most of the feet and legs are black

I don’t have an answer for you, but I hatched 4 a couple weeks ago from a blue Brahma and a choc Orpington. One came out blue but the other 3 look identical to yours so maybe they’ll just be black
