Oh ok, and I was actually planning on buying pullets about 4-6 months old( closer to laying eggs ) but I was looking in a Murray McMurray catalog and they run 19.99 per bird! Is that a good price? Seems a little pricey to me!

Well, it always costs more when ordering started pullets from a hatchery as they are harder to ship. I really can't help you with what pricing is best to look for as I've never ordered or even looked at ordering started birds.
