New to chickens. My 5.5 month old Cuckoo Marans free range while I'm at work. Noticed a week or so ago that her comb looked dirty so tried to clean and take a closer look tonight. Nothing seemed to come off. She seems fine otherwise. Just wondering if this looks okay or if I should be taking preventative measures or ??

She looks like she has Mexican thread grass on her fac
Looks like a lot of dirt on the face, head, neck, comb and inside the nostrils too.
Does she have a dry area to do some dust bathing?

Thank you...

Yes, she has several places to dust bathe.

I was looking closely at the photos last night and realized she had Mexican thread grass /feather grass on her face. I cut that back today as I've read this can cause problems in animals. I'm going to try and clean her up again and keep a close eye on her.

Sorry for the dumb questions!

Nope, not dumb at all! Anytime something seems a little off, it's always better to check it out and even ask for other's thoughts.
Keep us posted on how the clean up goes.

I since figured out that this might be caused by cherry tomato eating. I did try to clean her up with coconut oil green and another time with green goo. Whatever it is doesn't really come off but they seem fine otherwise!
