I picked up 3 chicks from TSC back in March. They were supposed to be Dark Cornish. They were all 3 black when I got them, now one has started getting speckles, is it a roo? Also, the speckled one has yellow legs, while the other two have dark gray legs. And one more question, are DC's any good for egg laying? I know they're supposed to be a meat bird...but I won't be eating them LOL The first two pics are of the speckled chick, and the 3rd pic is the one with the dark legs.

the first two look like cornish... The third, what color foot bottoms? Pinkish gray is an austrolorp. Yellowish gray is a black jersey giant.

I have to go take pictures of the yellow legged cockerel. Be back!

You're second pic is an easter egger and a cockerel. The first looks like a black sex link pullet to me.

On mine, the first 2 pics are of the same bird. The 3rd pic is a chick that was one of the 3 that I got that were labeled Dark Cornish.

If you compare my yellow legged cockerel to yours, they are the same age. except mine were labeled " barred rock" haha,. .I would call yours a pullet.
