So I ordered some dark egg layers from Ideal. They were shipped along with another order to my local feed store. Ideal did not mark them like they promised and the owner mixed them up before I got there. She swears that these are mine. I think 2 of the 4 are. Thoughts? I am hoping they are a cuckoo maran and a barnevelder or welsummer. Thanks!

I think your first two are correct but I agree with you, I think the third one is an EE.

I have no thoughts but they sure are cute

The first could easily be a Cuckoo Marans (I'm no expert and I could also guess it as a Barred Rock)
The second does not look like a Wellie, but does resemble a Barnevelder.

I can't see the legs well or cheeks on the chipmunk one/s. The legs look white, is that how they look in person? Theoretically EE's should have greenish legs and puffy cheeks. Do you know what the feed store got in their shipment to narrow down choices? I was going to guess Penedesenca since you ordered dark egg layers but I dont see them in the Ideal Catalogue. Hmmm.. Maybe more pictures??

The black one and the brown one were the only ones like them in the shipment. Roosters were marked, thankfully. She ordered RIR, BO and (of course) Easter eggers...

The EE's look like boys, btw. I do hope I'm wrong though!
