Dark Egg Mutts; Wellie x Maran, etc, Please post pics of eggs and birds

I'm interested in seeing pics of the result of a marans x welsummer bird- photos of -eggs and adult birds. Also any other dark layer cross birds and eggs, and how well they lay, personality, etc. I am starting completely over and appreciate input and discussion. Thank you!!

I'll start. These are from my 'Maroccans", Rock x Wheaten Marans hatching eggs I purchased from Halo. Birds were black (no pics) and they were really good layers of nice, dark eggs. Sure wish I still had these girls!

Wow! Is that sussex egg as yellow as it looks?

No, it wasn't really yellow, just a light peachy brown.
