I'm so sorry. *hugs* Words never serve the purpose, but she was lucky to be so loved.

Barney is 18 yrs. old, he is very thin but eats a lot he's also deaf, a couple days ago he was having a nap on the porch and wandered off, we looked for him for almost two hours before I decided to look in the lake, (he must have guardian angels) it's down a hill and weedy, tall grass, a natural shoreline. So I went down the hill and stepped into the water and just three feet to my right he was sitting, facing the shore, up to his shoulders in water. He didn't notice me at all until I grabbed him up from the lake, then he did one of his loud meow's and I hugged him to my chest and brought him home, he meowed so much, we were both so happy. Here he is drying off safe in the house.

She finally stared eating after we made the appointment. So she is with us a little longer for now. Still inevitable. Thank you all. Brother made the call to let her keep trying as long as she is fighting for it. If she stops eating and drinking again for a long period of time so much that she gives up then we'll go back to the previous option.
