Dark spot on a a duck egg day 27

I am on day 27 and they are welsh harlequin I ordered from Metzer farms

Okay, they probably won’t hatch tomorrow unless you hear them starting to talk. Usually ducklings start talking a day before they hatch. I’m sure there are times when they don’t but that’s what I pick up when hatching ducklings.

The duck in the egg is prolly darker than the egg shell, this has happened to me before.

That little one might be dead. At day 27 you can probably hear them cheeping if you hold up to your ear. Can you candle and post a picture?

They said they candle and it was still moving! Ducklings can go longer the 28 days so it’s just not ready to come in to the world yet!!

The fluid around the airsac worries me. I've never had those ones end up making it. I also know that usually when you get those spots, it means the duckling has died. Not sure why, but that's always been my experience. Wait a few more days in case it is alive though

I know that sometimes it looks like there's movement even when the embryo isn't alive anymore. At this stage it should be completely dark with the airsac. Is that how it looks to you?

We candled that one and it looks bad. It is not moving anymore and the egg has gotten darker. I have another weird looking one now. Just candled him and the egg was completely filled up like it was supposed to be. He was moving a lot. But there is this weird thing in the air cell
