Dark spots/lésions on comb

I’ve noticed some dark spots on my 3 year old Rhode Island Red ex-battery hen today. Does anyone know what these are? There’s just a couple and they’re like a dark brown-ish colour. Thank you!

Likely her comb was pecked by other chickens, and the dark spots you’re seeing is dried blood.

If it's a couple little dark spots and they're flat like scabs, I'd think pecking injury or rubbed on something. If they're raised bumps and all over the comb and gross looking, it could be a form of pox. Need clearer pictures.

Thank you. I’ve tried to bathe it in some water with Epsom salts but think it was causing her some discomfort. Is there anything I can do? Antiseptic cream of anything??

It looks like she just skinned her comb against some wire or something like that. As for any creams any human antibacterial creams should work but she probably doesn't need them.
