Could use a helping hand (or eyes). Is this frostbite? I live in Central TX so it's not that cold, but when it was below freezing for about half a week, all of my birds refused to go in their coop until I tucked them in at night, so they probably got exposed to more cold than they should have. Coop is pretty well vented, so I don't think it's from insufficient ventilation at night.

None of my girls who are kept in the same conditions have as many dark spots. Just a handful of tiny black specs which look more like scabbed over peck marks.

EDIT: typo. Scabbed, not scanned.

Yep, it will heal up just fine. It is hard to get through the winter without some frostbite.
Thanks, I appreciate the kind words.
First year of chicken ownership and we try hard to do right by them, but sometimes they make it difficult.

It will take weeks for the black parts to fall off.
Just leave them alone to heal.
