Dark spots on this egg - what should I do?

One of my duck eggs has these odd spots at the top (not air sac side).
My cat knocked over the incubator a while ago and many of the eggs ended up needing to be thrown out. I only have two left and this one isn't looking too promising (the other is healthy and ready to hatch). If this one is bad, how should I raise a single duckling?

If you end up with only one duckling, your best bet is to buy it some friends.

That egg didn't make it. I've texted everyone in my livestock club and nobody has duckling. Some people have chicks, so I'll have to go with those to accompany the little duck.

You can also use a mirror and a small stuffed animal. I had only one duckling hatch earlier this year. And same, no chicks or other ducks available, so I used a mirror and lots of attention until she was old enough to go out to larger brooder, where she could see the other ducks. She's now 3 months old and happily with other ducks, even though she's still my sweetie lol. So they can fare alone if needed
