So I need to run to town... Decide to take the wifes Honda Pilot vs my summer car(Toyota MR2). Do this because I am getting chicken feed, a big waterer, big feeder, etc at the feed store... All that doesn't fit too well in a 2 seater....

All was well until about a mile from home a darn deer decides to run out from behind some trees right in front of me... It almost ran into me instead of me into it....

It was a medium doe, but man it still did a number on her car....

Darn things.... When is hunting season....

LOL....had one in my yard 3 days ago...wanted to play with my sons wagon.....sorry but hunting season is november and jan if your in kansas...not sure if it's the same in your state.....lol

A friend of ours was on his motorcycle when he hit bambi. That was around 4 years ago he still has a lot of health problems. Just had surgry on his back to fix what bambi messed up.

Glad your OK where do you live?

I know how you feel, I have hit 5 deer with my van, Thankfully not all at once. I have had it fixed once, and decided not to fix it again. I think it is a deer magnet.

NW Indiana. and yeah I am a deer hunter... Bow opens in Sept, Gun in November. I love the deer, harvest 1 a year and enjoy the rest... I may harvest more now.....

my husband is a sheriff's dept and once of the cruisers they have has been hit by 8 deers in the last 3 years and numerus other critters.....odley enough they just retired the critter crazy cruiser because you could not run the sirens and the light bar at the same time...

We had the best view night before last. Looking out our front doors were two doe's or else a doe and a button buck running across the fields. This was why my hubby always wanted to live out in the country. Totally not chicken related, but for him a dream come true.

Edited for the apostrophe...otherwise doe's would look like does

Last year DH and our foreman switched trucks for a week. On the way to return DH's truck, our foreman hit a deer. The buck just jumped into the highway and got tenderized. DH jokingly told our foreman to "use a smaller bullet next time!"
