Darn it! Winter is on it's way :(

Just found out we are under a blizzard warning from now until midnight Friday night. Snow accumulations 18 inches to 24 inches with winds sustained at 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Said we could have snow drifts up to 5 to 6 feet tall. UGGGHHHH!!!!!

It's been snowing at our house for the past week almost. We had a brief break last week. My chickens are angry, and sick of the snow. lol

Maybe then South and the Northen Hemispheres will have winter together for the first time.
I our SA Autums are meant to start in March. This year it started really early.

Here in the states, there is an old saying that if the groundhog sees his shadow on a certain day (Groundhog Day) then there will be 6 more weeks of winter.



This year the groundhog "saw his shadow." I think people have made death threats to the groundhog because of this.
