Darn Plug In

We are hatching duck eggs in my classroom. The eggs have been in the incubator since Monday. I left school yesterday and everything was fine. I came in at eight this morning and the wall plug had malfunctioned and the incubator was off. : ( The room is around 72, so I moved the incubator and plugged it in to a different wall plug. I'm hoping that the eggs are okay. It will be seven days on Monday. I don't know how long it was off, but I know it didn't just happen because when I turned the incubator on, it was down to room temperature. I have two incubators going, so not all will be lost, but it sure will be sad anyway. Has anyone had something similar happen, and if so did they survive?

I should start by saying that I'm a complete noob and know nothing about hatching.
Having said that...

I just hatched a batch of Button Quail eggs in my classroom. I used a homemade incubator using the directions from this site.
I can't even count the number of things that went wrong - most having to do with temperatures going too high and too low (but there was one teacher who was bright enough to come into the class - remove and egg and shake it - like she was going to hear something in it?)
In any case 11 of 13 eggs hatched and only 1 died. So we have 10 chicks.
I was completely dumbfounded. I was sure that we wouldn't get any.
This has taught me that life is tenacious and these eggs want to be born. I have no idea if that dip in temperature will cause problems, but having gone through what I just did, I would choose to plow ahead and see what happens.
Just my 2 cents (based on almost no experience).
