Darth Vader Button Quail

Ok I'm a Star Wars nerd and I really want to get a little "Darth Vader" breeding program going. The web resources on buttons are...not great. I've read the books and searched here and still only vaguely know how to get a darth vader.


I tried to contact the OP of this link but they shut down earlier this year or so. Does anyone know how I can get a button that looks like this?

I too am a Star Wars nerd, so when I found out about Darth Vaders, I tried to track one down.
I don't know about in America but they are quite hard to find in Australia. I think they may be more common in The US but I'm not sure.

Here's my Darth Vader for reference to what they look like for those that don't know (the one in the front)

Darth Vader quails are a mutation of king (button) quails. They are selectively bred from the red breasted mutation of king quails that are similar but don't have a full black head.

I'm trying to figure out how to breed them myself. I've heard red breasted and golden pearl combined is that correct?

Love ur post if u find out tell me i been wanting a darth ever since i saw it online i wish i would hatch one this batch i think the seller had some partial looking darths and im in us so ill have to breed my own. Seen that hg quails pic online long yime ago too love it !! Qnd the name
