Darthi died today

My sweet hen Darthi died today after being sick for about two months. I took her to the vet twice but got no answers. She has lost about 3 pounds but she was eating, drinking , and being active foraging until the end. She was just getting weaker and lately my other three hens started pecking at her and caused a wound on top of her head so I had to separate her from them. I nursed her and gave her special treats every day. This morning she was sitting in her cage with her eyes closed and not moving. After a few minutes I saw her head drop down. I picked her up and she was still breathing, so I held her and petted her. She seemed peaceful. Then finally she convulsed and stopped breathing and my heart broke. I never knew that I would miss a chicken so much. The photo was taken when she was still breathing.

I am so sorry for your loss. Sounds like you did the best you could for her, at least she is no longer sick.
