daughter lost her duck

just wondering where i can find indian runner ducks in south west kansas?, my 17 year old daughter is absolutley heart broken over the death of her fawn indian runner aflac, i refuse to by poultry from orschelns.....so if any one know's where i can find either a half dz duck eggs or 2 duckling that would be great!!

I too cant assist with information on where to buy a replacement- but wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to your daughter.

I hope you can soon find something for her.

You can always order them from an online hatchery like Holderreads, or Metzer. I know Holderreads has fawn and white runners as well as several other colors. I've heard Metzer will deliver 2 ducklings but Holderreads I think requires more.

Also, you can check Craigslist, but I live fairly close to you (in Missouri), and I only see Runners on occasion.

ETA- For two ducklings, with the small order charge and heat pack (and I definitely suggest adding grogel, it's cheap and only costs cents per bird) and shipping, my order for him came to about $60 all together. A Little expensive for just two, but they came happy healthy and safe. And you can get them sexed.

I got my Fawn and white, named victor, from there.... you can order as little as two, and they can sometimes sneak you in early....
