Being careless Tayla stepped on a twig. The rabbit perked up and spotted her and ran. Tayla ran after it and gave up on it. She wondered if there were other wolves in this forest. She hasn't heard any howl or smelled any. She shrugged and headed off to find prey.

Nick put down his rabbit. "I'm Nick, and I came to get a drink. Chasing rabbits can make you thirsty, you know." He grinned and moved closer to the water while keeping distance from Leah and her pups.

Zoe scented another wolf and slowed, looking at Alf she asked. "You smell that?

Tayla was getting tired. She hadn't found any prey if she hadn't scared it away with clumsiness. She sat down. She was miserable and let out a long howl and laid down at the base of a tree.
