Day 10 Candled.... (Twins)

Well today = Day 10!
I check most of the eggs and one egg has shown two embryos... twins?
I think it's twins because when one embryo disappeared in the egg because of movement another one surviced...
whats the chances of survivel of the embryos?

has anybody hatched twin chicks successfully?

Twins almost never survive, but there are a few exceptions.

I watched this video on youtube the other day

She helped quite a bit, and they turned out ok.
From what I've read, its not good to help too much, though.

I just recandled again & I think I got a little head of myself.
I saw two blobs but one blob was darker then the other so i think it's just the other half of the one bird. lol.
oops. But it seems to be doing great.

It is very unlikely that you will be able to hatch them both... It has been done before, but they had to have a lot of help. You'll just have to wait and see how it goes. I've got a twin chick in my incubator too. I'm hoping at least one of them survive. Good luck
