Day 11 Eggs Bust?

First ever hatch. These 3 are on day 11 in our incubator. It looks like 2 rings and a dud? These were our oldest shipped eggs in our back up Kebonnixs. We only had 4 in there, and had a tough time keeping humidity below 37% (am trying for a dry hatch in our NR360, which is happily staying between 27-33%). But I'll be out of town days 13-15, and don't want to explode eggs. Thanks in advance!

Thanks! I checked those first...just checked a few in the the NR360 at 12 days and saw a proper baby chicken so now I can definitely tell!

My husband doesn't want to call it quits on these. We have a few more with a tiny dark mass; I'm guessing they stopped developing and won't suddenly look like a moving baby chick? The others look like layers on candy corn with no veins or anything, but he's worried about the dark areas.

I'm also concerned about the dirty egg. It has a moving embryo inside. I probably shouldn't have put it in. Will it be alright?

All the lit eggs are infertile, bloodringed and the one with dark mass at one end, quit. That's just meat chunk floating in there.

Thanks! That matches what I thought. Unfortunately, we seem to have a lot of blanks. I think we have 7 moving out of 26. First time for everything. I hope some make it. I was really hoping for some sno Swedish Flower Hens.

I would keep the humidity at 40 to 45% on shipped or your own eggs. Dry hatching mostly involves your relative indoor humidity.

Yes, shipped. The shipper and another breeder both recommended 30%. Is it usual for 50% of the eggs to develop no veins at all?

Where were they shipped from? I know a good breeder in North Carolina if these don't work out.
