Day 142... Pygmy Does are dialated but no babies

I've got three due.

One (Ella) is a real pest with wanting to be rubbed all the time... she loves her back legs rubbed and if you stop she'll start nibbling at you....

One (Jasmine) she doesn't come up to you but will allow you to approach her and rub her...

One (Lola) won't let you even look like you're going to touch her...

The weather is raining but in the 60's... I keep telling them to go on and have them since it's not freezing at night... Doe Code at work here....

They've had some sticky stuff on their butts and are dialated a bit and since Helmstead said to shave... well I didn't think I could get them to stand still for it, I did use a pair of scissors and cut the hair off their tails and around their butt but that's as much as they'd let me....

I don't know what it is with a camera but everytime I try to take a shot for you guys to look at what you think their due date is, they turn around and back up.... guess they're proper little girls....

If it's day 142 then you should still have a few more days give or take. Is the mucus really long and stringy?

I go by udders and personality on my pygmy girls. The udder usually drops between 12-24 hours before they kid. I just look and feel(if I can) their udder a week or so before I know they are due so I have a non-dropped udder to go by. I also usually try to sit with them for 10 mins here and their without bugging them just to watch so I know what they are usually doing around certain times of the day and when its close 12-24 hours again they usually have a different attitude.

With watching those two things I have never missed a birth. Hopefulley your girls wont make you wait too long. And you know they are all conspiring to wait until the yuckiest coldest night to have babies.

The discharge is pasty, sticky, gooey... everything clings to it....

But what gets me is the change in attitude.... Ella would not let me touch her and now I can't sit out there without getting mauled by her.... she nibbles my hand, my clothes, my leg until I pet her....

This has been going on for about a month but starting this past weekend it has been escalating to really pesty.... I want to give all of the animals in the barn some attention but can't because she's acting sooo needy...

Jasmine just started wanting to be petted on Sunday but won't actually pester you for it.... She's also staying off by herself a bit more.

I've been feeling their udders and they're pretty hard (makes me sore just feeling it) and their nipples have gotten much larger....

Lola's sides sort of dropped so now she can hardly walk but she'll skitter away if you act like you want to pet her....

All are at some stage of dialation but what I find strange is that the amount of dialation can change day to day, hour to hour....

Ella had a hole the size of a quarter when I checked her at 5pm last night and when I went back at 8:30pm it was like a dime...
