Hello,

I placed 12 bantam eggs in the incubator on April 15 and counted that as day 0. April 30 a chick pipped and successfully hatched.

All eggs are collected daily. The incubated eggs were all collected on the same day.

I only count 15 days. This chick appears externally non remarkable and normal behaviour.

What could have happened to cause this chick to hatch a week early? The other eggs when candled appear approximately the same stage developmentally.
