Day 15 on BQ eggs and I THINK I HAVE A PIP!

It's day 15 - button quail eggs (They incubate 16) and I think I have a pip! I see a little tiny bit of shell raised up on one egg! And I swear I saw movement on a few others!

yeap i think its a peep ... lol and i know the i think its movein my hubby says i stare so much at them that i think i seen something then he comes to look and im right its moven ... but good luck keep us posted .

I'm soooo eggcited!

I have trouble sleeping anyway, but tonight i know it'll be worse!

Was gone for 2 hours and was disappointed when I got home that it hadn't progressed even though I have read all the posts on here and know that's not unusual!

Not a pip ... had to add water today (humidity dorpped to less than 40 overnight) and checked the egg and it appears to just have been some dirt i had not noticed before.

Oh well. Here's to a pp or chick when I get off work tonight! Day 16 is here!

Dont be to upset, it usually takes 18 days for them to hatch. I also read 16 to 17 days but my hatches usually went to day 18. I would maybe have a pip or 2 on day 17 but the main hatch was on 18. You will have babies, just give them time. Jenn

Not too upset. Just the anticipation is killing me.

I had read that it got worse when you quit turning them, and I didn't believe people --- BUT I BELIEVE THEM NOW!

I've been giving them a pep talk everytime I walk past the bator! The hubby laughed at me -then I caught him doing it too!

The bad thing is, I got to come home from work because we weren't busy. So I'll be watching the bator allllllll dayyyyy!
